Subject: Reference for your website. Hi Willem. You may remember that you took a group of 4 people (cruisers from the Diamond Princess) on a tour of Tauranga and Rotorua on february 8, 2010, I had the pleasure of beeing shown the areas near Tauranga, Rotorua and Bay of Plenty by Willem Stroosnijder. My husband and I, along with two British frends came upon Willem at the dock upon disembarking from our cruise ship for a six-hour sojourn ashore. After a brief discussion about what we wished to see (geothermal activity and kiwi fruit groves), what Willem suggested we might like to see (serveral surprises and Maori village with the requested geothermal attributes) and finally what the cost would be (quite fair), the four of us pilled into Willem's clean and comfortable minivan. His van was not only air conditioned, but was equipped with something I had never seen before: a hand-geld remote control for individual vents in de rear seats. Willem than showed us around in a way that reflected his in-depth knowledge of the area. His commentary was interesting and informative, and reflected an appreciation for the beauty and uniqueness of New Zealand. He returned us to our cruise ship on time, as planned and now I am back home in the USA, nostalgically writing this note about a fine New Zealander who made quite an impression on me. Martha Paltzik. reference: Dear Willem I felt I needed to let you know how much we enjoyed our day with you during our stopover on our recent cruise, we all agreed your informative tour was a highlight of all the tours we did throughout NZ. I would lalso like to personally thank you for the help you afforded me due to my disability, as you could see I was struggling to keep up with others at times therefore I really appreciated that you took the time to hang back with me and explained what the others were hearing/learning from the maori guide. I would have no hesitation in enlisting your company again should we return to NZ sometime in the future. Thank you again for a wonderful day. Glenda Anderson Australia

Subject: NZ TOUR - Ilse Sieweke & Juergen Kablitz. Hi Willem. What do you think about rainy winter days in Germany? We are back at work while dreaming of sunny weeks in NZ and Australia. I am preparing a photo-presentation, to show our friends and relatives the beautiful sights of Down-Under. We visit interesting towns like Napier, Wellington, Mt.Maunganui, Wai-O-Tapu, Luttleton/Christchurch and the wonderful Sounds like Mikford, Doubtful and other one which*s name I don*t remember. We went to Steward Island and then to Hobart Tasmania. I hope you can imagine how big our heads grew because of so many pictures and memories. Not to forget the wonderful people we met. You belong to the first therefore you are deeply fixed in our minds. I*ll sing you another song and put it between the lines. Maybe you can hear it when you slumber. Dear Willem, we wish you and your family all the best. i think it is OK to use the photo's on your website. Please excuse my faults, but I think it is better to write with faults than not to write. Kind regards till next time. Ilse and Juergen Germany
